Fun Fact #3

There are four sections (or types) of instruments in the orchestra: Strings, including violin, viola, cello, bass, and harp; Winds, including flutes, oboes, clarinets, and bassoons; Brass, including horns, trumpets, trombones, and tuba; and Percussion, including timpani, snare drum, bass drum, triangle, cymbals, gong, and other mallet instruments. The piano is part string (because of its strings) and part percussion (because of the hammers that hit the strings).
